Comment:The material from field locality 69ADt161, upper part of the Shublik Formation from Ignek Valley, west end of Sadlerochit Mts. and 4.8 miles S. 55o E. of Red Hill contains vertebral, costal, and jaw fragments. The vertebrae are longitudinally narrow and lack fused neural arches. The jaw fragments contains conically pointed teeth with a simple pattern of labrynthine infolding set in a dental groove rather than in sockets.

Either the ichthyosaur family Shastasauridae of middle and late Triassic age or family Ichthyosauridae of Jurassic and Cretaceous age is indicated but the material does not allow definite assignment.
