Title: Report on Referred Fossils ,  1983 (01/21)
Sorry for the delay in reporting on these collections. I was away from the office most of the time this summer from early May through September and just got around to the accumulation of referred collections last month (i.e. October 1982). All three of the present collections are being returned to you, as requested.
Report by: Norman J. Silberling
Referred by: M. W. Mullen , Bela Csejtey , Jr.
Age: Triassic
Comment:Small, incompletely preserved, pectenacid bivalve - possibly LEPTOCHONDRIA. Even if better preserved, such Triassic pectens are not useful for dating because they are too poorly known. This specimen could be either of Nikolai or Chititone age. In any event, it is not a HALOBIA.
