Hill of dark gray slate with 1-2 ft beds of dark gray shaly limestone and orange crinoidal ls. Slate here is about 1,000 thick; its rests on Skajit Ls. and is overlain by quartz-pebble conglomerate with slightly chloritic matrix and interbeds of green phyllite.]

Comment:Bryozoan brachiopod-echinoderm packstone. No microfossils.

Remarks: No diagnostic microfossils were seen. The petrology of the carbonates is Paleozoic, probably Devonian or younger; definitely post-Cambrian.
