Description: No description given in Kummel E&R report of Feb. 11, 1954 (Shipment A-53-27); however, transmittal sheet of Sable dated Dec. 2, 1953 states: "Cut bank west side of "Match Creek" 1.1 miles south of mouth of creek at west end of high Triassic ridge. Interbedded black limestone, shale, chert; olive-gray to dark gray sandstone, siltstone, clayshale." [N.J. Silberling's "The USGS "Triassic Collection" CD (February 1998, Revised July 1998), p. 187 provides following description: "Northern Alaska, Point Hope 1:250,000 quad. Creek 6.8 miles east of Cape Lisburne. Cut bank west side "Match Creek", 1.1 miles south of mouth of creek at west end of high Triassic ridge. Collector: E.G. Sable, August 23, 1953. Field No: 53ASa256f."]
