Comment:The Halobia, with relatively wide straight ribs, is of a kind commonly associated with Tropites faunas in Alaska and may suggest a late Karnian (middle Late Triassic) age; this is only an educated guess because the specimens are fragmentary and the succession of different species of Halobia is poorly known. I could not make anything of the crushed ammonite fragments, nor could I compare the crushed and fragmentary spiriferids with the well-preserved specimens you collected near the mouth of the Nation River.
