I regret that preservation will not permit identification of species from your two graptolite collections. That the two collections are different is obvious but I cannot be sure whether either (or both) is Silurian or Ordovician. Buddington's Silurian collection contained Monograptus; neither of yours has this genus.

There is no evidence in either collection to require its placement in the Silurian. That is about as far as I can go for you.
