These four graptolite collections include some excellent material showing morphologic details not always seen in graptolite specimens. In addition they add the second known occurrence in North America of the genus Linograptus, known previously from the Henryhouse shale of Oklahoma.

The presence of Ordovician and Silurian from the Tindir Group is every important and something I have suspected because of the close lithic similarity of that group to eugeosynclinal rocks in Nevada.

If my determinations are correct and if the lines on Mertie’s map are essentially correct (with a westward dip) your section is obviously repeated with Low Silurian above Mid or Upper Silurian, and with Cambrian over Silurian (all of which you undoubtedly know).
