Comment:Collections submitted to N.J. Silberling through G.O. Gates for General Petroleum Corp. Collection discarded. Estimated lat/long is 61 65o 11'54 N. and 141o 41'17". Late Triassic (Karnian or Norian), they may be equivalent in age to Tr N-1 or somewhat older. All of these collections contain shell fragments of what may be a single species of Halobia comparable to the form described as H. cordillerana or H. fallax by Smith (USGS Prof. Paper 141, 1927) from the Nation River area. Their age is Late Triassic (Karnian or Norian); they may be equivalent in age to Tr N-1 or somewhat older.
