Description: Dredge sample from a little west of Pribilof Canyon at a depth of 200-550 meters. Sample from the upper part of a 1,000 meter sequence that is widely distributed on outer continental shelf, Bearing Sea (55o 54.5'N, 169o 58'W). Coll: Morrison 1967.

Comment:This sample contains scattered fragments of generically indeterminate thin-shelled pelecypods. The late Cenozoic age determination is based upon a very small specimen of Neptunea that is similar to an Alaskan Pliocene and Pleistocene species. The bathymetric range of Neptunea extends from the inner sublittoral zone into the bathyal zone.
