Comment:This species is known only from this one horizon in the Fishhook Bend area. In North America the genus is otherwise known only from the Miocene of the Cook Inlet area. The genus is common in the tropics and subtropics of eastern Asia; the species most similar to the Alaskan fossils live in Burma.
