Title: Report on Referred Fossils ,  1970 (02/10)
[Referred by H. N. Rieser thru J. T. Dutro] Shipment A-70-1 contains three small collections, the fossil plant contents of which are as follow:[see locality details].
Report by: Sergius H. Mamay
Referred by: H. N. Reiser
Age: Mississippian
Formation: Kekiktuk Conglomerate
Comment:Contains a few impressions of the lycopsid rootstock Stigmaria, along with a large number of casts, molds and impressions of linear axes, which probably represent the stigmarian rootlets.

This material is all poorly preserved and contains none of the sort of foliar material that is neccessary to floral zonation. The lycopsid specimens are not inconsistent with a Mississippian age, but they are not sufficient evidence for a more definitive dating.
