[Bond's transmittal sheet of 11/24/59 also provides this information: "East flank of Eureka Dome near head of American Creek. Tanana A-1 quad. Lat. 63o 13.35' N., Long. 150o 13.0' W. Coords: Tanana A-1 quad, 1952 Edit. (15.4"N, 8.3"E). found in conglomerate in quartzite unit of Cretaceous. Cretaceous will be divided into three lithologic units, oldst to youngest, quartzite, slate (shale and siltstone), graywacke. Fossil from upper third of quartzite unit. Best fossil found in unit from the area."]
