Description: Dark-gray to black, finely crystalline, lenticular-layered metalimestone locally containing white bioclasts?. Metalimestone is questionably within a sequence of metasiltstone, phyllite, marble, and calc-metasandstone (hornfelsed by Horace Mtn. pluton), which is overlain by "Skajit" Fm. Collected from 4400 ft. elevation along east side of 4600 ft. peak, 0.75 mile due north of Mule Creek, and 1.33 mile west of Big Spruce Creek, sec. 8/9 boundary, T. 32 N., R. 8 W., lat. 67o 37.1 min., long. 149o 21.7 min., Chandalar C-5 quadrangle.
