Title: Report on Referred Fossils ,  1973 (04/09)
Report by: David L. Jones
Referred by: T. E. Smith
Age: Kimmeridgian
Comment:Age: Upper Jurassic - Kimmeridgian

Comments: The fossils and lithology are remarkably similar to rocks of the Eastern Alaska Range recently discussed by Berg, Jones, and Richter (1972, Prof. Paper 800-D, p. 1-24), especially a unit designated Jcs that occurs southeast of Nabesna. If andesitic flows occur with these rocks, it looks like the Gravina-Nutzotin belt is well represented in the Central Alaska Range.
